“The place was great, tiny cabin on a lot with guest-shared bathroom and kitchen. Great location, close and overlooking Nelson. Lovely little patio. My only complaint was that we got there right after a long hike and I really wanted a hot shower and there was some large scary bugs in the shower. But that can’t be helped in a kind of outside bathroom. The host was great and gave us great recommendations on things that were happening in Nelson. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Earth Studio Suite while exploring the Kootenays. The suite is very comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. I enjoyed many mornings with coffee and watching the sunset behind the mountain overlooking the Kootenay River from the patio.The suite is very quiet and private, but if you miss human connection, Diane is a wonderful artist and and full of wisdom. I enjoyed many conversations with her and visitng her pottery studio. I felt like a part of the community……

“The location is ideal for exploring Nelson and its surrounding areas. It is right in the heart of downtown but very quiet. We walked to shop, eat, drink, go to the Farmer's Market, walk along the water to the park, and walked to the grocery store. Pat is an excellent communicator; we had a bit of an issue right before we left, and he was happy to help us get things figured out. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for making meals in, and it is a very comfortable place to……

“Lisa’s nook is a stylishly reno’d suite, close to town as well as the bridge to head east on the #3. Groceries, gas, a diner, liquor store (DQ and fruit stand in summer) are all nearby. Lisa is a kind host, her communication and entrance system make arrival smooth, and the suite is secure. A very highly recommended VRBO rental—thanks Lisa!”

“This property was perfect for us to be able to explore Nelson and the surrounding area, and then retreat to our mountain oasis at the end of a busy day. We had family members staying in Nelson who we visited and adventured with, and I loved coming back to a quiet place to wind down and relax. The host was very friendly and accommodating, and the property had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I’d definitely book again the next time we come back to the area, and I’d recommend it to friends……
