Okay, the staff were great! They were competent and professional. The bad is just kinda everything else. The room was pretty dated and nothing really worked. When I sat down on the bed, the headboard fell off the wall. It didn't hurt me but it definitely could've hurt a kid. There was someone screaming out in the hallway until about 1 in the morning. The AC unit in the room was super loud and made it impossible to sleep. The hot water took forever to get hot. Again, the staff were great but it kind of seems like the hotel itself is in pretty rough shape.

This was my first stay at this location and I booked because I do enjoy travelodge locations, the advertised “continental breakfast”, and the pool for our girls. We stayed 3 days and it was very misleading. Our heat did not work; they gave us a space heater which was very dangerous considering we have a toddler and the rooms are small. Not a huge deal but still annoying…the first morning I was expecting the standard travelodge breakfast and was told their breakfast was simply toast and coffee…how is that suitable for a 20 month and 9 year old?! When asked where to get breakfast they had said there was a restaurant but it wasn’t open and they didn’t know when it would be. When we first came into the room to stay we were greeted by a bloodstained pillow and when I asked to get a different pillow the housekeeper just wanted to give us new pillowcases…nope new pillows please..very disgusting. On the plus side the swimming pool was fantastic and our girls loved every minute of it; however the pool area gave off some red flags and safety concerns considering there are rooms that look into the pool and most blinds were open who knows what kind of people lurking around it gave off some weird vibes from a parent perspective. The housekeepers did not come to clean, take garbage or give fresh towels until I had to call to ask if they were coming. When the housekeeper came she just stood there while I gave her dirty towels and garbage and told me to help…meh pass this one if I were you!

I liked the convenience of price, however, for what i paid i should have at least had a view of the pool or the outside, not a wall. I did enjoy that room service never interruped my stay and that you couldnt hear the neighbors. The water in the shower would change tempersture frequently and wouldnt stay where i set it. A lot of things could be updated like the colour of the bathroom or the furniture in the room but overall it was decent enough for a couple nights by myself.

Smell at the front desk. Pool side rooms have a split unit that draws air from the pool area into the room. This air is humid due to the pool. It is uncomfortable. Recommend having fresh air brought in from outside rather than recycling pool air.

The lobby and hallways are dingy and dirty. The staff were friendly and efficient. However no one could help me with my bags even though I have a disability and was given a room on the second floor. The room had been renovated in the last few years but shows much wear and tear…rips in the linoleum, very noisy fridge, dirty windows, broken mouldings. The room was very clean though.
