“Liked privacy, quiet, clean, list of places to eat, Nigel was very helpful with our difficult overseas payment. Being from rural area it was difficult understanding security but destails were very good, just our lack of ability. I did get locked in bathroom at 3 a.m. as when I tried to get out as the lock fell out of the door handle. After trying to phone my husband as I used the phone as a torch, I ended up knocking on the adjoining wall. He finally woke up and came and opened door - it waas……

“The host never got in touch with us. We was out hiking in the Peak District and was on edge as the host wasn’t replying to us. Calling kept going to voicemail. We raised this issue with customer support however they couldn’t get in touch either so they had to cancel our booking and refund us. So we had to drive home after waiting outside of the property and spend even more money on fuel also. Absolutely shocking. Hopefully this host is removed from the site for wasting our time. “Nice house, good location. Lots of stairs. We ended up parking mainly in the big free car park just down from the property, it does fill up during the day though. Not the world’s fastest WiFi but okay. Living area was comfy, kitchen was well equipped. The shower is over the bath, the bath isn’t particularly wide, it’s a little hard to stand in. Biggest issue was the open hatch above the upstairs bathroom door - it was very draughty, even in May. Good location for exploring the Peak District,……
