“What a great little place to just relax. Easy check-in and out. We met the property owners who were friendly and hospitable. We were able to relax for a couple of days without the hustle and bustle of the “popular spots” over a holiday weekend. Thank you for sharing Tranquil Villa!!”

“This sweet retreat is in a little neighborhood near Edenton. We spent a couple of days there and driving time to Edenton Historic district, Elizabeth City and Merchant’s Mill Pond make this a great location. In the evenings…..very quiet. We saw ducks, bald eagles and herons from the back porch….and the sunsets were fabulous.”

The kids had one living room, watching what they wanted to, while my husband and I had the other. The house was very clean. “Property was clean and as pictured. Hosts were very helpful. The beds were comfortable and everything was functional. I did expect the “entire house” listing on Vrbo to actually be just myself and my family in the house, but it is a house divided into two apartments so there may be other neighbors/guests during your visit. The other side/guests have their own separate entry. The neighbors did not interfere with my stay, it just wasn’t expected. It was a nice stay overall and I would recommend……
