“This place is a little slice of heaven. It was very clean, beautiful decor, and all the amenities you could possibly need. From an outdoor griddle overlooking the water, a porch lounger swing, fire pit with provided wood, canoe and kayaks, a Keurig with coffee provided, comfy bed, gas grill down by the water, cornhole and other games, a nicely groomed trail that runs by the river, and so much more. I only use charcoal at home I wasn't sure how to light the gas grill and the host came right down……

“Hi - We had a wonderful time and the accommodations were perfect. The only thing that we would recommend is to have rials around the deck for full closure. The property allows pets but it would be nice to not have leash them on the deck when we are sitting out there relaxing. In addition there were no grill tongs the only tongs found were the small tongs in the kitchen which isn’t really adequate for cooking on the grill. I haven’t looked back at the what to bring so maybe add bring your own……

“ We came up from Kansas City and stayed Sunday to Saturday. Everything we needed for our vacation! The bed was comfortable, the AC and heat worked great. When we wanted to watch the Royals post season game, we grabbed our laptop and watched out at the campfire. Wifi Signal was great. Did some fishing. The lake was nice and calm.
