“The property is beautiful and the inside looks nice but that’s where the positive ends. Upon arrival at 4:00 we could not enter because there was a cleaner there still cleaning. Upon entry, a half hour later, the floors were soaking wet and slippery. The garbages were not empty in the bathrooms. The bedding was not freshly laundered. The oven was full of dirty pans(one full of oil). There was open bags of chips shoved in a kitchen drawer. The smoke detector beeped all night long because of a……

“We were looking for a true cottage experience and we found it! If you are looking for frills this cottage is not for you but if you are looking to relax and enjoy being right on the lake then this is it. We wanted to get away from it all,relax and spend quality time together and with our two dogs and that is exactly what we did. When we arrived the dogs ran straight to the lake and swam. We fished, we relaxed and when it poured rain we sat in the screened in porch and watched the rain and the……

“Everything was great..some minor issues but it is cottage in winter so some glitches are expected. Overall we had a great time.”

“Melissa was very accommodating making sure we were set up properly. There was a mix up with our booking and she quickly responded and sorted us out. We had a late check-in and Melissa let us check out late for some extra time by the water. I'd recommend staying at any of Melissa's places, she was a great host.”

“Beautiful space and clean cabins”

“Stayed at Eganridge 5 years ago. It has gone from a 5 star to a 2 star and was very disappointing. Even the dining room did not meet previous experience. Food had to be sent back twice. Pictures on vrbo were not of the cabin we stayed in. Flooding and sewage back up in our cottage meant we had to move to another cottage. Staff was pleasant but did not seem motivated to solve a variety of issues.”
