“We rented the cabin for our son’s visit. We were so impressed with everything. The host was well organized and quickly responded to any questions. The cabin and grounds were immaculate. My son enjoyed the peaceful location. I would highly recommend this listing.”

“Could have been a 5 star rating but:1. we had to shovel 5 inches of snow from walkway and deck to get in the house2. Very small amount of toilet paper. Had to go to the store the first evening we arrived. 3. The request to leave an empty dishwater, beds stripped, garbage removed AND to take with us, and floors vacuumed and swept was a bit much. The house is very cute, comfortable and in close proximity to everywhere we wanted to go. ”

“We are a family of four with two children, ages 6 and 9. We enjoyed our two nights at this cabin. The upstairs bedroom configuration was fun for the kids. A little bit of Netflix and PBS kids when it was particularly rainy over the weekend, as well as the suitcase-full of games the kids brought with us. We weren't able to hike Bald Mntn as planned because of the rain, but the home's location was well settled in low-traffic side streets that permitted us to get in a nice walk/hike when the rain……

“The most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed! From the moment I walked in my mouth was on the floor. The attention to detail is incredible at this place and has everything that anyone could want in a luxurious Adirondack cabin! The rooms were exceptional and very clean. The decorating was stunning! We loved the gas burning fireplace and heated plunge pool! The house was literally across the street from trail five and right next to the lake. Which made our trip Snowmobiling so easy and convenient.……

“Great cabin for a stay in the Adirondacks. Close to Old Forge its lake and attractions, as well a great jumping off point for travel further into the mountains. Cabin was clean, with open windows facing the sun. Large deck on main level, large family room with large TV for movies on lower level. Well supplied kitchen for those who like to cook. Could use more silverware and cups and better lighting for reading. Warm and cozy warm wood interior. All in all a great place to stay in the……

“Nice little cabin with just what you need to get away and enjoy the lower Adirondacks. Cozy and dog friendly. We had a lovely time.”

“It is an older property which has been updated with the necessaries, including kitchen and bath. We chose it for the location but mainly, because we were able to bring our two dogs. There were six of us and although the cottage was cozy, we were perhaps a bit cramped. That would not have been an issue but a rainy week forced us inside more than we would have liked. The location is beautiful - very close to First Lake and right off of Hollywood Road. The side road was excellent for dog walking……
