“This property was exactly what we were looking for our winter weekend trip to see the elk. We had some beautiful snow while we were there, and the wood burning stove in the cabin was absolutely amazing. Peggy was very responsive to all my questions, and even provided us with homemade bread and treats!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this cabin and our stay there! Everything was very clean and well furnished. We loved the fact that, other than the owner's house which is also on the property, the cabin is very remote. We hiked the trails, watched the birds, and heard the coyotes! If you want a peaceful, comfortable, and relaxing get-away, this is it!”

“Beautiful location!”

“Very comfortable and well cared for. Spiral staircase to large upstairs bedroom. Wood floors shining. Property is on a dirt road which is a bit rough but also, no traffic past the lodge and a good place for a walk. Though we brought our own food, there was a lovely plate of apple cake,cookies and loaf of homemade bread waiting for on arrival that we enjoyed. A nice touch. Only negative was limited silverware and a sauce pan would be nice. Overall, an enjoyable stay. No tv or internet but I used……

“We had a great stay. Everything was as described and communication with the Owner was great too. We did receive some automated emails from a previous property manager that was no longer in effect so that was a bit confusing, but did not detract from our experience at all. We stayed in February and went to Punxsutawney for Groundhog Day which was a lot of fun. The cabin sits on a beautiful property - it would be fantastic in the warmer months.
