“Overall the experience was good… it was out first time at this property and we go to Deep Creek at least 2 times a year. Some of the amenities need updated…. The foose ball was broken. The air hockey table was broke. And no useable pool sticks for either pool table. The mixer in the kitchen did not work. The dryer would not dry out clothes until my husband pulled it out and cleaned the vent hose. The back deck was so dirty and overgrown we had to sweep the dirt and moss off it to keep from……

“We loved almost everything about the property. Was very clean and spacious. The only negative was most of the sofas and living area seating was damaged/broken and TVs need to be updated. We were advised by property manager that new owners just purchased the home and we’re going to add new furniture and fix some things. Once that happens this will be one of the nicest rentals I’ve stayed at and would love to return. ”

“The owners are very friendly and excellent communicators! We came between snow storms and he offered travel advice, plowed the driveway, and checked in to see if we needed local for food suggestions. The cabin is fantastic and perfect for a small group setting. We came to the area for a team competition and it fit our crew perfectly. It provided a cozy atmosphere and was comfortable enough for us to all get a good night’s sleep. Highly recommend! ”

“We traveled here to visit the Wisp Resort for skiing and we arrived around 8PM at night and it was extremely dark. It would be nice to have some lights outside so we can see the property. Overall, the inside is beautiful and the area is very quiet which is nice. There were multiple rooms and one of the rooms the quilt had hair on it as well as the carpet in the living space had some hair/lint perhaps. There also some dust and hair in one of the bathrooms. But not any big issues and the owner……

“This is a great cabin in a great area it was quiet with lots of things to do on the property, hot tub, fire pit, and frisbee golf. The house is beautiful and looks exactly like it does in the pictures. The surrounding area is quiet and great to break away from the rest of the world. ”

“We greatly enjoyed our time at the Old Town Guesthouse! The owner was extremely responsive and generous. The homemade cookies were a great touch! We had to reschedule our trip at the last minute and she was so understanding and helped us find another time to visit and add a night to our trip! Not only was the customer support excellent, but the space was beautiful, clean, well maintained, and well stocked with everything you could possibly need!
