“ A fantastic place to stay in the Oldtown/Cumberland area. The house is super cute and very convenient to Oldtown and the C&O Canal, and it’s an easy drive into Cumberland if needed. Everything was peaceful and the countryside is very pretty. Also our host was great; no problems. Would stay here again! ”

“It suited our purposes perfectly. We were riding the Western Maryland Railway dinner train and stayed at the house just overnight. The large deck is especially nice.”

“Clarysville Motel is a newly renovated, well managed, reasonably priced motor lodge - combining convenience and comfort. The room was very clean with a coffee maker, microwave, and a large refrigerator. The bathroom had a new shower insert, big, fluffy white towels, and plenty of hot water. The owner and son were very attentive to our needs providing bags of ice and even meeting us in the middle of the night when we lost our key. It was very convenient to Delfest and we look forward to returning……

“This place is super close to the Trak and Yak trip which we were in town for. It was a great location right in the middle of town. The only complaint would be the three window AC units did not cool the whole house. At least the evenings were cool to open the windows. Would stay there again, but would bring a fan for the king size bedroom that did not have a window unit.”
