“This was the perfect house for the 7 of us that gathered from 3 states. We all had our own bedroom and bath (1 bath was shared with parents and an adult son). The outside patio was nice for the smokers in the group and we spent a lot of time out there. The neighborhood appears to be older and somewhat run-down but all the neighbors were friendly. The house itself inside could use a good deep cleaning and a fresh paint job but it was still a beautiful house. We've already talked about renting……

“The Carriage House is ideally located, we were able to walk to many restaurants and the Bluff. The location was good but the house and hosts were even better! The house itself is quirky and fun, perfect size for a couple. Jim introduced himself our first morning there and was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!”

Everything was provided.. towels, washcloths, kitchen utensils, extra blankets. They also provided laundry soap and shampoos/conditioners. Stratton, the host, went above and beyond for us. Her hospitality is why we will definitely be booking the carriage house on our next visit! ”

“Unlike most people who come here to relax, we were doing a Mississippi road trip and used it as a base to explore the area. It is in a great location near a main road, but because of all the woods around it you feel isolated. It was a great place to chill after a day of touring. We loved the back porch swing.”
