The hotel kept my payment and didn’t give us the room. We came in at 2:10am. I booked the hotel at nearly 7pm and the front desk clerk said due to us not calling before they completed the audit to inform we were still coming she was unable to keep our room that was already paid for, so she gave it to someone else. NOWHERE in the booking process did it say I had to call and confirm by a certain time or call at all. I’ve never had this type of experience with a hotel before. The hotel had no issue taking my money for the non-refundable room. Front desk clerk said try another hotel down the street, so from now on the La Quinta Inn’s will never receive business from me again.
