“In general I loved the experience, the sights and sounds of the rainforest are amazing. The weather wasn't kind to us and a power cut within an hour of arrival did have us thinking we might not stay but we persevered and we are glad we did. The property is 3 star so don't expect luxuries, go for the experience. Hosts are friendly and the amenities are good. Handy for Platypus hunting at Yungaburra and the Tablelands in general.”

“Malanda Lodge - Malanda Room 11 7-10 may 2025 Room was lovely, clean except for a little mould in the shower. View was very nice and the pool was clean. Breaky was included, toast tea coffee and juice cereal and fruit very plain but nice. Gardens were well kept Only negative was need drawers were in rooms Would stay again”

“Great location and friendly staff. Even an open fire at night. Loved the outside/inside bathroom. Cotton sheets and and a non squeeky bed would have made it perfect”
