“The apartment was huge! Great to have so many extra beds and two bathrooms. The rooftop pool was small, but well decorated and we had it to ourselves. They delivered breakfast each evening and were responsive through WhatsApp when we had difficulty getting in. Very clean.”

Although it is in the no-vehicles zone the hotel was able to call you a taxi that can arrive outside, otherwise you will have to walk 3-4 mins tk the nearest main road which can be inconvenient if with a lot of luggage. “Lovely property in the heart of the old city. Borders on a square with tons of cafes and walkable side streets. Don’t drive to it, parking jot ao accessible. Great friendly staff and you’ll have an adventure figuring out the light and outlet controls in your room. ”

“We had a great stay at Hostal Ambos Mundos! We were right in the gothic quarter surrounded by tons of shops and restaurants, with La Rambla right down the street. Everything was walking distance for us including the beach and Gaudi buildings. As for the hotel, it was very cute and cozy with a friendly staff. Also the property is staffed 24/7 so we felt safe and without fear of being accidentally locked out. Despite being in a very central area, our room was super quiet and we were able to rest……

“This is a very decent hotel. Great location. A few steps from the bus station thanks to the fantastic traffic planning for the city. Excellent choices of pillows. The staff are warm and friendly. Apart from the little accident that happened at the first night(the hotel didn't give me the port view room that I booked because of the booking system problem, so make sure you double confirm the room type with the hotel via message before you arrive. Although they tried to fix it once they found out……

“This hotel was great, period. It is located in one of the best location in Madrid, 5 min walk to the Palace. And walkable to the big market, and close to metro, train, etc. The room was spacious with large king size bed. The staff were amazing and spoke very good English. Very helpful and respectful. I would stay there next time as well. ”
