“Impressive carpentry throughout, from the log walls to the stump supporting the kitchen table. A great fireplace and a big living room space in front of it. Beds are very comfortable, the towels fluffy, and the kitchen adequate, if a little tight if too many people gather there. Fresh snow made the property appropriately magical on the days before Christmas. The long, snow-covered driveway, although flat, was a bit of a driving test in the dark.”

There was a dishwasher, washer, and dryer and even though I was there mostly in winter/early spring the deck was a great addition. Very clean and comfortable. Would wholeheartedly recommend!”

“This is a very nicely renovated home, the listing is very accurate and so are the pictures. The curtains are thin so if light bothers you sleeping this may be an issue. A very common item not in the listing or provided is a coffee pot or cups. So if you are in the 66% that drink coffee bring you own,or plan to go buy it somewhere, which adds cost to your trip. Everything else is very nice great appliances, the kitchen is well equipped. ”

“We stayed at this 1 bedroom rental to attend our grandson's Clarion University graduation. The location is very convenient to the University. Quiet, safe, clean neighborhood. The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with. The rental was spacious, clean, and well appointed. Would definitely stay here again!”

“What a lovely house! The 3 of us came in just to visit Punxsutawney and fell in love with Smicksburg! We enjoyed our stay here so much and would definitely return. The check in was simple and parking in the back worked out great. The kitchen is enormous, stocked with plenty of utensils/dishes, soap, plastic wrap, salt/pepper shakers. There aren't many restaurants in the area, so making full use out of the kitchen was very helpful. In addition, there was a cute little coffee/tea setup, full water……
