“Jay's cabin was perfect for us. Spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, super comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and great location on the Cabot Trail. We enjoyed days exploring the trail and evenings on the porch or walking to the ocean on trails on the property - views from the cliff-top were magnificent. Thanks for a great stay, Jay. Maybe we'll get back there one day. ”

“Overall we enjoyed our stay at this cozy cottage. Location was a great home base for exploring the Cabot Trail. Lovely property with access to hiking trails right on site and just a short walk to the ocean. The only issue I would note is that the floor is two different heights between the kitchen and living/bedroom area. This is a bit hazardous and we had to be careful until we got used to it. Both my husband and I either tripped or stubbed our toes.I would suggest doing something to make the……

“This cottage is a lovely spot that we enjoyed as we began our four-day journey around the Cabot Trail. Good place to start that trip if you are going counter-clockwise as we did. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The snug cottage had everything we needed. Nice trails on the property to stroll on. Overall a very nice experience here. ”

“If you like solitude and nature, Big Intervale will give you that! The property is beautiful and off the beaten path. There are no services nearby so if you’re visiting off season, be sure to gas up and bring your toothbrush and snacks. It’s a good 20-30 minutes on a dirt road to get in or out of the cabins. “Beautiful house next to a beach and small harbour. Stunning views. The house itself was fabulous with a great living area , superbly appointed kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. There was also a lovely verandas, but sadly not the weather to benefit from it! Very quiet area with lovely trails and beaches. A few small local amenities were open, the co-op at Neil’s Harbour was great and lovely coffee and ice cream at the groovy goat farm.”

“Every one of us loved it here - grown ups, kids, and dog. We had many great adventures in a short time and wished we could have stayed longer.
