We were attending a wedding at Tower Hill Barns and found this hotel to be excellent. They organised the taxi for us to/from the venue at short notice and there were five of us in one large taxi. The hotel breakfast was excellent. The reception guys we dealt with were extremely helpful in everything we needed. We didn’t eat dinner at the hotel but when we had the breakfast we wished we did! The only downside is the very narrow entrance to the hotel car park which was a very tight manoeuvre but one of us got out of the car to guide the car in.

We loved our overnight stay here. Our room was clean and comfortable with a good shower. You have to carry your suitcase upstairs, we didn’t mind but just giving others the heads up. Stated here over Christmas when visiting Wrexham for the football, beautiful old building, breakfast was AMAZING I understand why people rave about the restaurant which we sadly didn't visit - only downside was our room was like a sauna even in December because it was a tiny room the radiators felt suffocating so we had to sleep with the window open (even my husband whose always cold complained it was to hot) but thankfully the hotel is on a quiet road

Very nice building, in a central position. You can easily walk to all the destinations in Wrexham and/or easily get to the train station and bus station. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, perfectly cooked and served. The staff are kind, friendly and helpful. Hugely recommended if you’re planning to visit Wrexham.

The hotel rooms were good. Spacious and clean bathroom, adequate heating, a fridge in the room and soaps etc provided. The hotel restaurant was excellent. The food was fine-dining quality for a quarter of the fine-dining price tag.

Not comfortable to sleep

The room was too hot. We didn’t open window because of the safety as we were on the ground. The mattress is so uncomfortable. It couldn’t support weight and it laid on one side.
