“This gem is close to the Appalachian highway but nestled amongst trees shading the back deck. I woke to horses in the adjacent field whinnying. Beautiful kitchen. Nice open floor plan that opens to dining and living. Lovely rooms upstairs. The bed I slept in was quite comfy. The complex has a heated pool, a volleyball court, a fire pit, a basketball court, a tennis court, a horseshoe pit and a catch and release pond with gazebo. Close to Timberline and Canaan and only about 10 minutes from……

“Our family of four stayed for two nights and used this as a home base for a skiing at White Grass, tubing at Canaan Valley Resort, and hiking at Blackwater Falls State Park. The home was well-appointed, and the hosts were very welcoming... they live right next door and are available to help if needed. The home is full lovely antique furniture and was very comfortable for us. Love that they are dog friendly!”

“We enjoyed our stay and the comforts of the Fox Den! It was a great base camp for daily mountain adventures and we appreciated the cleanliness, the outdoor space and the fully equipped kitchen. The only downsides of our stay include the noise from the upstairs renters—we had a hard time sleeping because you could hear their every movement and it lasted into the early morning hours. We also wouldn’t recommend walking to downtown Thomas from the unit because there isn’t a sidewalk and the unit is……

“Worked good for our 3 man crew that is working in the area , theres no tvs in the trailer but wasnt a huge deal for us since we was only there of the nights , the host max was a super nice guy and very accommodating , the pond is really nice and one of the guys caught a couple catfish ”

“Thank you! We had a nice stay. The apartment was just what we needed for our family of four and dog. Anything we wanted was within walking distance. So glad it came with a dedicated parking spot. It would have been helpful to have a binder with all WiFi and check out requirements. But, Dustin was helpful and responded quickly to any questions.”
