Unique experience & location, photos on listing tell the story. Paved roads, driveway & parking graveled, no mud on rainy day. Excellent communication from the host. Perfect location for bicycle trips north & south on Standing Bear Trail. Sturdy tiny house cabin like camping in woods in a motor home with large deck. Generator for electricity, propane for heat, but running water & real flush toilet. Watch out for front door step, unusually tall, would not meet code in the city. Part of the rustic charm? Challenge for old couple in their 70s. Loft has minimal ceiling clearance, for kids or small, agile young adults only. Was not made up, bare mattress, linens stuffed in bags, appears little-used. Cooking can only be done on nice propane grill on deck. Three minute drive to Barneston, where historic Grand Avenue had a makeover into bar / convenience store, sandwiches & pizza every day. Recommended, look forward to next visit.
