“This was one of our best B&B experiences or hotels for that matter ever. Our innkeepers, Dave and Trudi were so kind and attentive. Their place is a gem, and meticulously maintained. Huge attention to detail and consideration of their guests. The happy hour, the made-to-order breakfasts (served by Dave, a former beverage manager at the Palmer House in Chicago!), the grounds (charming) and the magnificent views from the great room and our sleeping room made for a very happy stay. “Happy’s Haven exceeded our high expectations!It is squeaky clean, comfortable, beautifully appointed and fully equipped. We loved sitting at the end of the dock on the chairs that extend over the water, and were thrilled with the proximity to excellent hiking and walkable distance to dining and entertainment. We even enjoyed a fire in the fire pit one night, with supplied wood. Hosts Amy and Shane are excellent, responsive hosts. We definitely hope to return!”
