“Went for a short, 2 night break from Beijing to visit the Western Xia Tombs just outside Yinchuan. I caught the shuttle bus from the airport (20rmb) to the terminal in central Yinchuan. It was a 25 min walk to the hotel, Later discovered a very convenient 28 bus which stopped nearby. The hotel staff were efficient, friendly and welcoming but with limited English, so I used my "survival" Chinese throughout my stay. Whether they could speak more English or were politely humouring my attempts at……
