Come for a relaxing Yachats getaway to the cozy Garden Cottage by the Sea. Conveniently located across the street from the Historic 804 trail that winds along the beach, across the bridge to the quaint village of Yachats, the "Gem of the Oregon Coast". You can sit at the breakfast table having your morning coffee & contemplate your adventures for the day, as you view the ocean waves. The cottage has all the amenities to make your stay a romantic weekend or a perfect family vacation including your four-legged family member. Enjoy walks or runs daily on the beach or explore the tide pools. The Garden Cottage by the Sea awaits you.

We felt instantly at home. Everything we needed to be comfortable was there. It was perfect for our dog Bailey! There was even a dog bed in the garage. Wi-Fi wasn't very good but even that was a bonus. We played games and watched some old classic movies in the evening and took some amazing walks on the beach.

The property was fine but the cleaning folks left the broom out and other things out of place. Ice trays in the sink. There’s a sign that says don’t put the knives in the dishwasher but you can’t even cut cheese with those knives they are so worn out. The baking soda box expired in 2021 according to the penciled in date. So why bother? I can’t get the dishwasher to start to save my life. I probably would not sta here again.

My 2 friends and I are all over 60, in pretty good health. There are two short stairways to manuever up with luggage, which was somewhat difficult. The house is fabulously furnished, with a well-appointed kitchen. Overall, a wonderful vacation rental in lovely Yahats!

Great little place just outside of town within walking distance to the ocean. Little bit longer of a walk into town but still a good location. House and amenities are in good shape and working order. We will definitely look for this property on our return visits.

Initially surprised to be staying on East side of 101 but turned out to be a beautiful short walk to the beach and town. Great comfortable and spacious home for us and small dogs. We had such a great time! Thank you for hosting us

I felt like I was staying at a friend's house. Everything that I needed or wanted was there from cookware to tea towels. The beautiful private garden in back was icing on the cake.

The instructions for finding the home could've been more complete. There are 3 homes up this driveway and this home has no number that's visible from the driveway. The home is very nice and comfortable. Very nice art, furniture, comfortable beds, well eqipped kitchen, nice partial view of ocean. The fenced yard in back is great with lovely flowers. The home is not really within walking distance to anything so you need to drive to everything. Overall it's quite nice!

Outstanding relaxing time on Oregon coast. We also live in an Oregon coastal town yet still enjoy the unique experience a yahchats had to offer as well as this beautiful rental house.

Above average vacation kitchen with nearly all the equipment most cooks could want: coffee grinder, blender, slow cooker, large assortment of utensils and kitchen tools, etc. Nice little sunny back deck for windy days. FWIW, the VRBO map location is a bit misleading in that we saw the cottage on the beach side of 101, but it is across the road. Beach access is just across 101 and a very short walk south where you will see a path to Yachats Ocean Rd. Very enjoyable and comfortable cottage!

Went to the art show, spent quite a bit of time at Neptune playing on the beach and the rocks, walked the 804, went to the Sunday market, hunted for agates. Did not want to leave.

House was clean and orderly and comfortable with most things you would need. Fronts Hwy 101 on the East side so Hwy traffic noise is constant. Ocean view is minimal and short distance (a few blocks) to beach across highway. Pet and musty smells were prevalent. Absolutely no cell phone reception but wifi is available. Basic TV channels only. No sports channels or movie channels.

My spouse and I went for 5 days. We loved this place. The view of the ocean from the kitchen window is a plus, and it’s only about a 5 minute walk to the shore. Because it’s right on highway 101 it is noisy unless all windows are closed, but the tasteful furnishings are so clean and comfortable and cozy. We would stay there again.

The place is clean and well equipped. Everything was comfortable, the beds, the couch, the bathroom, everything. So easy to get to the beach and to the Hwy heading anywhere. If you are wanting to cook a gourmet meal, bring your own specialty equipment, the kitchen is stocked with basics.

We loved staying at this little cottage. It was very charming, and clean. The beds were comfortable. The only thing I would recommend is a privacy cling on the lower half of the bathroom window. We would totally stay there again!

Really good communication with the mgmt company. House was clean, kitchen is well equipped with a view of the ocean from the dining room table (bonus!). Perfect place to stay for our trip to the Yachats Celtic Music Festival.

Lovely home away from home. Very clean and comfortable. We could see the ocean from the kitchen table and the front deck. Cute little fenced in garden and sitting area in the back. Short walk or bikeride across the street into the neighborhood. Tide pools were amazing. Great seafood. Yachats is a cute little coastal town.

We LOVED staying at this little cottage. It was so clean and well stocked with anything you might need. We loved sitting at the table having coffee and looking at the waves. The front and back porch are both darling and the flowers around the yard are lovely. We loved the town of Yachats too!

This was the perfect place for my family of four and our dog. The kids each got their own twin bed, and the backyard is completely fenced so our dog had a safe space to play outside. Dog toys are even provided! Everything was clean and well-maintained. I loved sipping my coffee on the deck every morning while watching the waves break. We would love to come back again.

Clean and comfortable. Great kitchen that was well stocked with essentials and utensils. Our family(dogs included) loved it. It felt comfortable enough that we were sad to leave. If you’re thinking of booking this house just do it, you will not regret it. Only downside to some is no cell phone service, but it was actually great being out of touch for us.
