Nice place, quiet and great view of the water. Room is bigger than I thought it would be. Bed was pretty comfortable. The refrigerator made some noise and it was a little noisy and it woke me up but after figuring out what it was I ignored it. The room I stayed in had an electric fire place with a heater and I used it instead of the wall heater, it was nice. Overall, nice place to stay, would stay here again

The view was beautiful, staff were friendly and warm, and my room was comfortable and had more amenities than I expected. Parking would probably have been a little tight if it had been busier.

The Staff was the best part , we were in Room 23 andour hot water in the tub ran constantly, the door would lock from the outside BUT NOT from the inside. Our glass slider leaed at the bottom and the sides. We had over an 1 inch of standing water about a foot from the bed. The hotel was partially empty but we ened up with 2 rooms adjoining above up the running and jumping started at usually around 8 pm and went until around 1230 am the would restart the next moring all over. The staff when our room flooded went over and got us extra towels to put down. Come to find out 4 other rooms had the same issue 3 on the first floor with us and 1 on the second level. The managment is aware it has happened before.

Nice covered pool, rooms are spacious and clean but a little outdated. It must be said that there is only one hot water heater for the entire motel so if you get up late, there is no hot water for your shower.

Silver Surf is an older motel but very well maintained and operated. It is relatively inexpensive and a bargain. The walls are a little thin but not unexpected for the vintage.
