Truly a wonderful place to stay! Staff cannot do enough, rooms are so clean & spacious, food is plentiful and delicious! Stones throw from harbour and seafront walk to sandy beaches and azure blue sea - what more could you want!!

The pool are was a bit run down in places(tiles in the pool and around the pool missing and paint chipping in many places by quite a bit around the pool areas). Rooms were good and also public areas. Lacked a bit of atmosphere. Surprisingly quiet for Easter half term. Location great for eating out and shops. Sun loungers not the most comfortable. Rubbish around the pool areas. More like a 4 star than 5 in my opinion.

The Volcan is a lovely resort with very good staff and service. I gave it only four stars for several reasons. The food was very bland and boring and we ate in the restaurant at night just twice in 11 nights. Apparently there was another restaurant on site but it was closed. Fortunately we were at the Marina with lots of food options and ate there the rest of the time. We had Breakfast there, but no fresh strawberries, Raspberries or Blueberries. The fruit was very repetitious. There were poached eggs offered once and never saw any again. The cold fruit and cereal area got squeezed into a small buffet when there was obviously a big influx of European’s expected,as the cold meat and cheese offerings were spread out with lots of room where the fruit had been. There was no nice bar to come back to for a nightcap for a quiet drink. The only option was the room they had the entertainment in and we went in on our first night and it was like we were in God’s waiting room. Purple light and a weird atmosphere. Silence and everyone on their phones. That was enough for us. Had our own nightcap in our room. The outside areas with pools is great but getting a little run down in need of some repairs and painting. There was peeling paint on the floors in a number of places. On the plus side, our room was spotlessly clean and the housekeeping staff were amazing. Would I go back, maybe, but probably not. Too many other places in the world to visit.

Friendly, welcoming and efficient staff made our stay a pleasure. The Volcan Club area (adults only) was ideal for us, quiet, with a great pool area with bar. Our room was perfect with a good seating area and a sea view across to Fuerteventura. Fabulous breakfast, afternoon tea, and an evening bar were all excellent.

We love this hotel and return often. The hotel appears to retain staff, always a good sign, they are helpful and friendly. Rooms and surrounding areas are spotless. Good quality food but we would like to see a better choice for lunch, soup, sandwiches, baguettes. Evening entertainment is varied and good. There’s a great choice of bars and restaurants within 10 minute walk.

The room was a good size with seperate sitting area and looked exactly as I expected from the pictures in website. TV incuded British channels and was huge. Lots of sets of stairs/ steps around the grounds which didn't all have bannisters or rails which made it difficult/ dangerous for clients with reduced mobility.

Eine tolle Anlage, die Zimmer schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber Außen wie Innen mit viel Charme und gerade keine typische Bettenburg. Man sieht das die gesamte Anlage in Schuss gehalten wird. Die Gäste verlaufen sich wirklich prima. Schöne abwechslungsreiche Themen Abendbüffets, leider war das Essen durchweg, mit viel gutem Willen maximal lauwarm…. was wirklich schade für die Gerichte gewesen ist. Ebenfalls die Vorspeisen gut gedacht jedoch direkt aus der Kühlung, wer mag z.B. schon Garnelen in Teig eiskalt und aufgeweicht weil viel zu früh vorbereitet….weniger ist vllt. doch mehr? Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und es wurden alle Mängel, wie defekte Terassentür, kein Licht sofort beseitigt. Auch die Pool-Landschaft konnten punkten, super angelegt. Wir hatten alles in allem einen schönen Urlaub und würden auch wiederkommen, dann aber evtl. nur mit Frühstück.

Das Hotel ist schön, der beheizte Pool war auch toll, das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man verläuft sich am ersten Tag oft, das haben wir auch bei anderen Gästen beobachtet, weil die Anlage verwirrend angelegt ist. Der Spabereich hat nur bis 17:45 auf und das Frühstücksbuffet könnte qualitativ besser sein.

Wirklich originelle Empfangshalle und interessanter Style, alles in allem aber ein recht normales Hotel mit kleinen Ups and Downs. Das Team beim (wirklich sehr überfüllten) Frühstück gibt sein Bestes, viele von ihnen sind sehr freundlich und zugewandt. Auch Marta von der Rezeption war immer mit einem freundlichen Lächeln ansprechbar (und hat uns einen tollen Restaurant-Tipp gegeben).

An amazingly designed hotel with a village feel. Not soulless like many contemporary hotels. Wonderful location next to the Rubicon Marina. Food buffets and the service was exceptional. The rooms were wonderfully spacious and well equipped. I will be returning very soon.

Très calme, proche du port et de commerces et restaurants. Petit déjeuner très varié en self service. Dîner de la pension excellent aussi. Grandes piscines dont une est chauffée. Beaucoup de transats, il y en a toujours qui sont disponibles. Excellent séjour. Nous sommes ravis.

The hotel is very relaxing, the atmosphere is serene. We stayed in December and it had a number of heated pools. There were always available sun loungers. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great.

I love the property for its location and the extremely well maintained pools and outdoor area. The condition inside the room was very clean and organised but you can tell they had been accumulated some love during the years. The faucet in the bathroom is bit old and push button on the toilet jump out. The buffet dinner is very good but seems a bit short of staffs at some nights, they did not have the extract wine I ordered and the waiter made clear it will be corrected on the ticket, but still showed up during check out to sort out. Very old fashion, but I will come back if it is cheap.
