“We enjoyed our stay in the cottage although this was mainly due to the friendship of the four women. The views are breathtaking in the midst of nature’s beauty. There should be better signage on the road leading to the cottage. We arrived late afternoon, GPS on but service is not the best. We drove way past the small number sign. Four women alone on a wilderness road, no phone signal, no GPS and no SOS…..scary to say the least. Upon entry to the cottage, we were hit with cold dampness. Heat……

“Had a sweet winter getaway. Daniel and John were so accommodating and brought us wood for the sauna! Big fan of the view. Thanks again!”

“Ruthanne and Sheridan were wonderful host. They were kind enough to meet us at the ferry and drive us to their home. The house was warm and comfortable, and we felt like we were at home. Everything was spotlessly clean. Beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had all new appliances along with the washer and dryer. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly would recommend it to anyone. ”

Beautifully decorated throughout and the beds were so comfy. The area was pretty and close to all the things we wanted to see. But the area people were wonderful. ”

“Terrific time in Kemptville, NS at this accommodation - Moose Cabin - Golden Forest Lodge. I recently had a three day vacation there with my 14 year old Son and his Father. We had a great experience from the moment we arrived. We were greeted upon arrival, the owner/host went out of his way to accommodate us and we were treated very kindly throughout the entire stay. “Stayed w family in town for a celebration of life. House was spacious and kitchen well equipped for our family The house is very remote and access is 9 minutes down a bumpy dirt road 1 shower for a large group was a challenge ”
