“Located far down the peninsula from Rockland at Spruce Head, Craignair Inn boasts panoramic views and oceanfront dining. Our room, one of 16, was on the third floor and nicely remodeled. There is no elevator and the stairs are steep; but assistance with our luggage was offered. The inn also contains the Causeway restaurant serving casually elegant dinners. Our meals were memorable. We would definitely come back on future trips.”

“We went off season and liked the location - convenient to Camden, Rockport, Thomaston, etc - walking Rockland is wonderful - shops that were open were great - open restaurants were good - local people awesome. Hotel offered more options than normal for free breakfast including eggs and meats. Great balcony facing the working harbor and Vinelhaven Ferry - would love to see some hardscaping or landscaping in front of hotel parking lot once new road paving is done (soon). Beach is at other side of……
