Dewey Cottage -Adorable Cottage close to long sands beach and short sands

ADORABLE, CHARMING COTTAGE CLOSE TO LONG SANDS BEACH & SHORT SANDS YET COMPLETELY PRIVATE & PEACEFUL!!

This wonderful 4 Bedroom, 1 full bath (wide tub) cottage with a washer/dryer, and a GORGEOUS yard to relax in are available in 2019 to have as your retreat in Maine this year!! Being only 8/10 miles to busy Long Sands beach, this retreat will take you away and lull you to serenity each day. Character abounds here, with Central A/C and ceiling fans.

A one-car garage has been renovated this Spring into a game room with a pool table, being another great space separate from the house. Small deck, screened and eat-in porch, kitchen with a double sink, and a bright and comfortable living area.

A beautiful, somewhat fenced-in, lovely yard with a fire pit and a corn hole toss game, bench swing and plenty of space, nature, and beauty...memories are just waiting to be made!!

This property is pet-friendly and well-behaved pets are always welcome! So of course there is no extra fee for bringing your pet, please check the property description and House rules for more details.

No Smoking on property or premises.
We do not provide propane refills for gas grills.
Fireplaces are not to be operated, for decorative use only.

Vacation disaster

We had to leave early- this property was not ready to be rented. First impression outside rotting railings picnic table mildew on siding and deck- seemed poorly cared for. Indoors also a disaster.Really damp - porch room especially smelled of mildew -open boxes of baking soda were present, as were mice and their droppings. Mice kept us up at night. Toilet needed immediate scrubbing we had to wipe out fridge and rug was dirty. We were extremely disappointed and although we wanted to stick it out this property has basic health and safety issues that need to be addressed

This cottage was amazing. It was quite well stocked and we had very little that we needed, extra. The decor was quite charming and we felt very much at home. The neighborhood was quite private - but very close to the beaches and Nubble Light. A++++. Thank you for such an awesome location for our family to gather!
