The host is so friendly and welcoming, I love the farm animals as well! Such a simpleway of living. “The location and area are wonderful. The property COULD be a gem, but it is in terrible disrepair. The house inside, while perhaps not outfitted for people who cook a lot, is decent. But when we checked in, the exterior was a shambles. Grass half cut and lawnmower left on the sidewalk, gardens not weeded or cared for, pool cold and dirty, hot tub not working, and not clean, no propane tank for the bbq, the dock in disrepair to the point of being dangerous. “Family travelled to Ladysmith for a winter reprieve and to spend time with friends living locally. Ladysmith is a unique place, centered well between Victoria and Nanaimo. The rental provided all the comforts of home, was very clean, extra bedding and towels (always a plus!) and so spacious for us travelling with 3 teenagers. Loved the view, and everyone was able to relax and enjoy our time together. Host was very attentive, checking in with us to ensure comfortable stay. Instructions and……
