“Loved the chalet and interesting to read of its history as a former store. Beautiful location and not too far to travel to either Denmark or Albany. The Youngs Siding Store has a good range of items and the Melting Moments are delicious! We enjoyed meeting the animals especially the horses and llamas. Would love to stay here again!”

“Prefect location, walking distance to York street. Apartment 3 is clean and tidy with fully equipped kitchen. Private car park just beside the apartment. Highly recommended!”

“Perfect location, close to shops etcThe house was a great older house with a story as to its origins.The hosts ensured all we had to do was turn up and stay with beds made and towels for all the guests. Enough firewood to get us through the stay, just perfect.Great communication and checking in was easy.Our two dogs loved it and we made sure we had their travel beds and blankets but the facilities were still there for them. The Tea Book Shop is highly recommended for coffee, the loviest coffee……

“House and location was perfect, beautiful view from the balcony, amenities were great. added bonus of bird seed to feed the birds. Location was amazing easy access to the river walk trail, and short drive to town and all attractions. We had a wonderful time thank you. suggestion perhaps a Nespresso machine for people to BYO coffee and use. Thanks again ”

“Everything was just wonderful, it was clean, comfortable and I loved the decor - has everything you need, even a parking space for your car. The hosts provided a few simple extras that were a great treat after a long drive, milk to make a cuppa and some yummy biscuits. An added bonus is the lovely private garden you get to enjoy and watch the birds. Very easy access to the beach and to town; short drives. Thank you Jo and Peter.”
