“We had a fantastic stay in this lovely home. The neighbourhood was peaceful, making it a great base to explore the area, with beautiful walks through nearby fields. The house itself was clean, open, and spacious, equipped with everything we needed. The fully fenced outdoor space was a great bonus, especially for those visiting with a dog. We would definitely recommend it to friends and, if we’re back in the area, we’d happily stay again!”

“My partner and I stayed here for two nights over the long Easter weekend. We loved the space and it had everything we needed. We contacted Meg and Pete before booking and they were happy to accommodate a special request for us which was very kind as they did not have to. They were great hosts and super responsive. The apartment is decorated beautifully and there were thoughtful extra touches - the oat milk in the fridge alongside regular milk was particularly thoughtful. There is an air fryer……

“The Cannons is a spacious apartment pretty much in the heart of Southwold which is beautifully decorated, comfortably furnished and ideal for the perfect stay. Only downside is having to tear yourself away when it’s time to leave! ”

“We stayed with 16 friends for our Stag/ Hen weekend. House was fabulous - size, decor and comfort of rooms were great. Only put 4 stars for accuracy of online listing as we were expecting a BBQ and hot tub but couldn't find them.Very close to corner shops, pubs, restaurants and a park.Host Jonathan was very informative of all the helpful info we needed to know about the house and communicative with our questions pre stay.Would 10/10 recommend! ”

“We stayed at Lord Darby cottage at Barn Owl Glade over the Easter weekend 2025 ... and it was fantastic!So much to do for the kids - hot tub, heated swimming pool, games room including a pool table and Nintendo, swings, table tennis, feeding sheep.The cottage was well equipped featuring two single beds in one bedroom and one double in the other. Each bedroom had an en-suite and individual temperature controlled radiators.The lounge area was fine for 4 with a good sized TV, table and chairs and……
