Hotel Jägerhorn was ideally situated in the central part of Zagreb with east access to many museums and numerous restaurants. The staff were wonderful. Desk staff great. Property very ragged, dusty and worn out. Really don’t get all the ‘clean’ reviews!! Room booked thru Expedia was top floor, three flights of stairs (that’s right-no elevator and no bell help!), dormer room. Could not stand up in 1/2 of the room!

The hotel has a beautiful outdoor terrace and the location is excellent. The concierge was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and organizing transportation to and from the airport. The downside is that you have to carry your bags up the stairs - in our case 2 stories. The rooms are a bit on the small side but nice.

Overall, very impressed. Only a 3 star and this is probably a fair reflection. Breakfast is spot on, the coffee in particular amazing. Bit of a walk with cases as taxis can’t stop outside. Staff all lovely. Centrally located. Only negative, we had a very creaky room. Floorboards creaked in our room and we could hear floorboards in neighbouring rooms which disturbed us quite often . Would recommend though at this price point

Great location and friendly staff

The hotel is in prime location, very convenient to go around. Staff is very nice and friendly. However there was sewage smell in the bathroom and won't go away. Think this is more the issue of the city sewage system, as we smelled the same in other places in Zagreb.
