Extraordinary Lakefront Lake Tahoe Estate with Breathtaking, Expansive Views of the Lake
Villa Harrah is the legendary Lake Tahoe estate built in 1963 by Harrah’s Lake Tahoe Hotel and Casino founder William F. Harrah. According to the locals, Bill Harrah had the absolute choice where to build on the lake since he was one of the first to do so. Thus, Villa Harrah offers “the best view of the lake”, unsurpassed by all others. Only fifty miles from Reno-Tahoe International Airport and twelve miles from Lake Tahoe Airport, Villa Harrah is located in an exceptionally convenient area of Lake Tahoe, making it an ideal location for recreation and entertainment. Both extreme outdoor enthusiasts and family-focused adventurers will find precisely what they are looking for literally around the corner or down the street. As one of the first casino greats to transform the gaming industry, Harrah filled the house with world-famous entertainers. His high-profile guests included celebrities such as Frank Sinatra and the Rat-Pack, Judy Garland and many others all of whom could utilize the secret tunnel that runs the length of the property to conceal their arrival, party the night away and then relax and refresh in the luxury accommodations that Harrah meticulously oversaw. Villa Harrah was recently reimagined, redesigned and remodeled throughout, and although completely modernized, still whispers of a time-passed with some original features remaining such as the famed secret tunnel that leads to the inviting private beach and pier. The villa has over 20,000 sq. ft. of interior space and impeccable amenities and finishes.
