“The home was very cute, clean and comfortable! Although we stayed just two nights and we were out and about most waking hours, it offered us all we needed and the owner Jennifer was quite responsive to our needs. Would love to return soon and do more ancestry exploring! ”

“We visited in late May for a short family reunion of adults at this lovely historic home. Plenty of room for the 7 of us to sleep comfortably and gather in the living room or breakfast table & dining room. Easy walk to the downtown shops and restaurants and short drive to hiking areas or wineries. The home was appointed generously in regards to staples. Britt was incredibly responsive. The immediate grounds are landscaped wonderfully.I would comment that the exterior areas of patio or front……

“We came to stay close to Shenandoah University for our daughter's graduation. We had ten guests (had thought up to 16 and we had plenty of room)! We had a blast! The home allowed for plenty of sleeping space, room for us all to eat together, hang out, and sit by the firepit. We were close to many vineyards. The whole weekend was a dream! Thanks, Anna!”

“Great location, house was nice, just 1800s houses didn't have hallways. You have to go through the Master bedroom to get to 2 of the other rooms. One room you had to go through 2 rooms to get to it. Slightly awkward in the extended family situation we were in. Maybe fine for some people but "we didn't get the memo" ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was fantastic, just right for 5 couples. The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable, black out shades were nice. mattresses were deluxe. The whole house was beautifully decorated, and furnished with very nice pieces. The covered porch and fire pit, were both exceptional experiences for our group. Loved being in nature, and away from the city. Listening to the owls, and watching the horses graze, and deer run freely. Dishwasher did not work, but I am……

“Our family traveled from both Southern Illinois and Maine to come together to attend a family wedding in Middleburg, VA. The Musical Mountain House was just perfect for our stay. It was clean, beautifully decorated, and the beds were so comfortable! The bunk room couldn’t have been anymore perfect for my grandkids. The hot tub was such a nice addition too! The house is located just where we needed…close to the wedding venue, and also close enough for some sight seeing in Shanendoah State Park……
