“We only needed one night as a stopover on the way to Skopelos. Very good value and nice clean room with en suite and a garden terrace. All very clean with complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee. Easy check in and out, central to the town and just 5m walk to the ferry. Would come back for sure. ”

“Great location! The property was clean, basic rooms but cleaned daily and towels and sheets changed regularly. Air con was a bonus. Pool area great for Skiathos town. Only downside for me was the bathroom a bit dark and could do with a revamp…shower screen instead of curtain. But wouldn’t put me off going back for sure! ”

“Our checkin was very slow, we had to wait over 2 hours. But we were offered coffee and nice view and pool to pass the time. Our room was basic. Breakfast was excellent and the staff in the morning were very friendly and helpful. ”

“Excellent and very friendly staff. Good options for food if needed. Room was spacious and great value for money. The pool was clean and most importantly the view from the hotel was absolutely phenomenal. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill so if you have mobility issues you would need to get a car.”

“Fantastisk bra hotell rett på stranden. Hyggelig og rolig stemning på hotellet, virkelig et sted å slappe av. Maten var særdeles god, spesielt en Italiensk restaurant. Gode lydisolerte rolige rom, med meget gode senger. Vi reiser 4 til 5 ganger i året, dette er et av de beste hotell vi har opplevd i Hellas. “The girls at Mimoza were absolutely amazing. Even though this time we only got to spend one night in Skiathos as we were visiting another island the staff made us feel more than welcome. They kept our luggage and allowed us to use a bathroom after check out as our flight was leaving later in the day. Couldn’t fault this place honestly, it’s spotlessly clean, the rooms are comfortable and it’s located within walking distance from all the amenities.”

“Great one night stay at Hotel Mato. Traditional old Greek house where the lady owner was so helpful and friendly. We had a room at the top of the house (up a spiral staircase) which had a spacious balcony with amazing views of the port. Lovely traditional Greek breakfast. The location is fantastic for Skiathos old town and the ferry port. Would recommend (as long as you like cats - she has tons them! ) ”

“Cute village. Swimming pool area is cute and relaxing. Bus stop is nearby. the Village is on the hill so has good view but need to walk up all the way and many stairs. in the case ur knee is not strong, check the room location in advance with to hotel. During the stay, hot water was not stable nor controllable so I and my friend both got scald bc very hot water comes out all of sudden almost every 2mins. It was repeating. ”

“1 min walk from Skiathos harbour bus stop.This hotel is just before you get to town & harbour.Everything is within easy walk- you can take harbourside walk into town or be adventurous and take back streets. Beaches 22 mins walk (google) although that is an average and we did it in about 15mins. Ramp & steps to hotel from street. Room was large and spacious with long balcony .Staff were Fantastic and breakfast was AMAZING! Rooftop pool with double loungers, pool towels supplied. This hotel allows……

“Location is incredible being quite literally on the beach! Proximity to Skiathos town and Airport is good, a 10 min walk to town and 10 min taxi from airport. Food is good and competitive in price with neighbouring bars. Sea is clean and clear! All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.”
