“The property is beautiful. Private yard and pool. Super well-maintained. Amazing view from living area upstairs. Think ahead for food; we arrived on a Sunday in mid-May and all the markets and most of the restaurants were closed. No dining facilities on site and don’t plan on “walking into town”, as it’s about 1.5 km away and it’s a steep uphill on the way back. Communication had challenges. On the eve of my departure for Greece, I received an email with check-in instructions all in Greek……

“I cannot recommend this place enough. I came with my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday and we got a room on the top floor that was brand new and had a spectacular view with the town of Skiathos being visible and also the mountain side. The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, especially both Katarina’s and Kelly, who are the ladies you encounter the most. Every surface seemed to be cleaned daily so the whole place looked spotless and new. They even mop the floors outside.……

“The property had wonderful views over the water and to other side. Hotel showing signs of aging. Cracked sink, mildew in bathroom. Great promenade to walk along. Restaurants along promenade were woeful. Basic food unappealing and all same same. Found a great restaurant up a side street from water. Staff at reception really helpful. ”

“We only needed one night as a stopover on the way to Skopelos. Very good value and nice clean room with en suite and a garden terrace. All very clean with complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee. Easy check in and out, central to the town and just 5m walk to the ferry. Would come back for sure. ”

“1 min walk from Skiathos harbour bus stop.This hotel is just before you get to town & harbour.Everything is within easy walk- you can take harbourside walk into town or be adventurous and take back streets. Beaches 22 mins walk (google) although that is an average and we did it in about 15mins. Ramp & steps to hotel from street. “First trip to Greece and to Skiathos. Blue Horizon was excellent specially the people running it the place. Friendly, polite cannot praise enough how welcoming this family made us feel.
