“Where to begin, La Granja del Colca WHAT A PLACE!! We are touring Peru and found this place. We drove from Ica which was a 14hr drive, which meant that we arrived in the late hours of day, even though it was late Anita greeted us with an Andean herb hot tea. During our drive we unfortunately got sick, we ended up passing a poor night, the next morning we had the pleasure to meet Walter the owner of La Granja del Colca and he treated us like family, they served us with a special menu so our……

“The worst “hotel” imaginable. Staff have no idea what they’re doing. No wifi (i mean who needs wifi). I was told to be ready at 6 am sharp for transport to the city. It never came. The hotel reception said that in Peru when we say 6 am we really mean 7 am. Unbelievable. I only woke up at 5 am and was there 15 minutes early. I had to hitch a ride with another couple’s driver (pure luck) to get to the city, My driver is still probably on his way. The worst part is in my haste I left behind my hat.……
