“This is a traditional style large grand hotel in the centre of town. While it is less "grand" than it presumably once was, it still delivers good levels of comfort, room size, and service. The location is conveniently very close to the old town, historic attractions, parks and restaurants. ”

“Family of 4 stayed here August 2025. The room was excellent, just be aware I don’t think there is an elevator (I may be wrong). The character of the building with Byzantine-era walls was outstanding. Good breakfast. EXCELLENT location for Old Town Plovdiv. Staff was super-helpful with sorting parking. “It is listed as being located in downtown Plovdiv, but unfortunately, it is actually about a 25-minute walk from the city center. In front of the hotel, there are several buildings that are falling apart, which makes the view from the windows quite unpleasant. The rooms at the back of the building are very dark and receive no sunlight at all. ”
