“Great place”

“I did not stay there. They told me they did not have a room for me so I left. I found another hotel and the Salt City Inn called to say they had a room. I declined at that point because they first turned me away. ”

“My room as usual was Top Notch. It was clean, comfortable, everything was working. However, I was traveling with a friend who was in the Next Room. His experience was different. It was clear the sheets had not been changed, there was a hole in the wall covered by a piece of plywood, although he did say it was very clean otherwise and the shower had plenty of hot water with good pressure. I personally have always had good experiences there but my friend will likely not be coming back.”

“It was filthy, the sheets were burned and stained, there was humidity and rust in the bathroom, the toilet was stained and had a strange smell. It's not like the photos, everything is old, and the TV didn't even work.”

“The bed was very comfortable. The room was great it just needed some minor repairs in the bathroom. The breakfast was close to nothing, but it was good enough for a grab and go. Owner was very polite and kind. ”

“I will be honest, my hotel standards are usually a step above Holiday Inn but on short notice in Mcpherson Kansas the weekend of graduation and a college track meet, options were limited. That being said, i was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room, lobby and breakfast area were very clean. For hotel breakfast, the breakfast was very good (and the breakfast attendant was wonderful). The evening clerk never once seemed annoyed when i had to continually come to the desk for something……
