“The woman at reception was incredibly helpful. The road to Selva was closed the following day and she found suitable public transit options and let me check in early. The hotel also prepared a box breakfast as I had to leave early the following day. Definitely far above and beyond what I expected. The hotel is beautiful and my room was spacious with a large shared patio. The pool and hot tub are in a stunning setting and I enjoyed a long nap in the solarium. “What a charming place! The breakfast was splendid. We ate one night of dinner board there and the second across the street at the sister restaurant. Was great to have that variety. The only drawback to our stay was the constant church bells every 15 mins and the rooster in the mornings. Be aware that the bells ring until 11 pm and start at 7 am. Made it hard to go to bed early or nap at all. I know this isn’t in the control of the hotel. But in the summer when you need the door/windows open it’s……
