“I was a little hesitant when I booked this room but took a chance. I appreciated that they did not price gouge like most of the other area hotels on an OU "special" weekend. No frills but it met our needs. Super close to campus. Very clean, polite and attentive staff. It is not fancy. The beds were very firm which I liked. If you're just looking for a place to sleep, it fits the bill. I would not be opposed to staying again. We were grateful to find this room on Mom's Weekend!”

“Our family loved our time at the Magnolia Magical dome after a college tour of Ohio University. The dome was such a fun change of pace from a boring hotel room. The decor is charming and all the little details were appreciated from the night sky projector to the slippers for the hot tub. The guys enjoyed mountain biking at Baileys ridge just 15 minutes down the road. If we end up with Bobcat in the family, we will be back! Thank you.”

“Place was clean but needs some updating. Both showers had some issues. One tub had issues draining and the other shower’s hot/cold knob completely fell off. Beds were comfortable and place was spacious which we liked. Drapes could be a bit better for privacy purposes. Neigjborhood was okay not the greatest.”

“My only complaint is that we didn't get to spend enough time in the yurt. We had a very busy weekend in Athens for my daughter's college graduation. The drive back and forth was absolutely fine. Pictures don't do this yurt justice. So very well done from the construction to the decor. It had everything we needed. We considered ourselves lucky that we got to experience rain on a yurt rooftop! So cozy! We loved everything about it! ”
