“Our family enjoyed our stay overall. The home is dated but clean. Our grandkids loved the hot tub and the view of nature- saw fox, deer and hawks. The view of the ocean was breathtaking. The home should have some "sensory" cleaning meaning it was very musty smelling. Overall it was a very good place to stay.”

Only negative was the heating element was nonfunctional in the hot tub - kids were disappointed. But management was quick to assess and offered us a refund for the inconvenience. Wonderful home base to explore the region. Easy access to sandy beaches and tide pools beaches. Discovered plenty of treasures that had drifted onto the shore. Neighborhood is very safe……

“This was our fourth rental at Sea Ranch and our first right on the coast. The stormy waves were LOUD, but we really enjoyed this different and up-close vantage on the sea. The house is spacious and spectacular, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the beds were comfortable. We hope to come back!”

“Four buddies rented Sixpence for three nights for a get-away from the Bay Area. The home was very comfortable during some windy and stormy days and nights. I think the fireplace was on non-stop. We got out to hike whenever we could so the location was perfect for accessing the Bluff Trail. Very quiet and the home is well appointed and happily not too much clutter. Sleek and clean. Already considering going back. ”

“This place is the best. The sunken living room and built ins make for an extremely cozy hanging-out area, and the fireplace is incredible for nights and cold times. The highlight of the place is the view, you can see the ocean super clearly and the sun sets right between the trees flanking the two sides of the creek. Incredible place! “Stayed here with my wife and dog. Can comfortably fit a family of four no problem though. Its a nice, comfortable, and cozy house. The value of this listing is the location and view however. We bbqd on the back patio, with a view of the ocean. Tough to beat that. Will be staying again. ”

Definitely check out the cafe just down the hill on hwy1, seems like a good community spot with board games too, but we didn't go down until the end of our trip.”
