“We stayed at the Attican Motel while spending the day at Darien Lake and seeing a concert that night. It is only a 15 minute drive away. The motel sits on a hill above the main road, so it was pretty quiet. The photos don’t really do it justice and it looks even nicer in person. It’s a quaint family-run establishment and care has been taken to keeps things up to date for the most part. We were very comfortable here. Two things you’ll want to be prepared for though: 1) A $50 deposit is required……

“We came here to celebrate my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary and it was great! Unfortunately, the weather didn’t pan out for us so we had limited use of the outdoor spaces but the indoor area was great with plenty of room and comfortable hang out spots for our family of 8. The kitchen was plenty big and we cooked most meals at home with a few times still heading into town which was a quick 10 minute drive away. “It was a cool and wet weekend near Ellicottville for what turned out to be a great day of skiing for us. This property was fully suitable for cozy evenings inside in the winter; board games, a decent pool table, Pac-Man (!), space to be together — or apart, and comfortable beds for everyone. We are definitely considering a visit during the summer to do some biking, and to enjoy the fire pit and views of nature from the deck in the back, or sit in the rocking chairs on the front porch to read a……

“Stayed here for our annual guys ski weekend with plenty of room for all to sleep. House had everything we needed to cook and clean up from full meals, including the bbq grill in the garage. Hosts were great at communicating, even offering extended check in and check out times, which was fantastic. We had an oops and left a sweatshirt behind, the hosts were gracious enough to help mail it back to us. If they added a hot tub this place would crush, but even without it , it's a great place to stay.……
