“We had a great time and everyone wanted to stay longer. Kids (ages 5 and 7) especially enjoyed the beach, the paddle boat, the kayaks, the games, the fishing, and the comfortable and well equipped home. We caught a lot of bluegills, bass, and catfish from the boat house deck. We kayaked a good ways up the main lake and back. “Heron' Cove is a great location with plenty of room for our family group of eight adults and four children under 10. We were in VA for our Son's wedding in Mineral, VA. The layout was perfect for our needs. We are already talking about a return trip. Fully equip kitchen (w/two refrigerators) made meals a breeze. “The inside of the property is fairly nice and defintley adequate for a nice getaway. However, the outside of the home needs some work. It's not falling apart, but could use cleaning, painting and a few touchups/repairs in some areas. The decks are dirty and could easily be cleaned. The house's hardie siding is faded and dirty and needs painting. The gutters need cleaning and painting and areas of the roof need to be cleaned off. I noticed these areas because I am a contractor.
