“We really enjoyed our stay, right on the bike path and so close to grocery store and restaurants. The waves of the ocean the Sunrise and the Condo was clean and well maintained too. We used to live on Kauai, so we knew exactly where we wanted to stay. This place was perfect for us as we could walk anywhere, we wanted to or drive if we wanted to. The Pool and Hot tub were nice too.”

“I liked the proximity to the marketplace, attractions, and the beach. I didn't love the roosters that wake you up at 6 am. But they are everywhere in Kauai so welcome to island living.”

“This property was in an amazing location very near Poipu beach. Worked very well for our family of 14. Access to off-site athletic club with beautiful pool and Cabana Grill. The house is equipped with all the beach gear you need which was so nice. Melissa, Property Manager responded almost immediately when we had a couple of questions.”

“The house and grounds are beautiful! The location is awesome; so close to beaches, shopping, and easy to explore the island from. We were really grateful for the beach chairs, umbrellas, 2 boogie boards, sand toys, and ice chests. Everything we needed for our large group! The house had many amenities. Above the stove there were spices, tahin, syrup, etc. The beds were very comfortable. The owner, Paula, is so accommodating! She gives lots of tips via text and answers any questions promptly. She……

“This was the perfect property for our family of 4. It was a very short walk to the beach, had great views of the sunset, and had all of the amenities you need. Plenty of beach chairs and an umbrella, snorkeling gear, and well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Would definitely recommend!!!”

“I was so impressed with the spacious Pono Kai property and maintenance. Nice landscaping, elevator, heated pool and HOT tub. Employees were all so friendly and polite. Everything worked in my CLEAN room. Friendly guests and owners. Large parking lot, but buildings spaced out over acres, so very quiet. I wish I had found the Pono Kai to rent during my entire 3 weeks, Saving transition days and service fees. Directly on bike path and ocean. I biked or walked every day...food trucks and……

“It has been 37 years since the last time we stayed at Poipu Kapili, soon after the resort first opened. The resort is still well maintained with beautiful landscaping and a nice swimming pool. This unit has upgraded flooring and stainless appliances. The furniture and beds were comfortable. Although there was an AC in the bedroom and several fans, none were used since opening the bedroom window and the wide lanai door cooled the unit quickly. We appreciated the available Tommy Bahama beach……

“First off let us say, the communication was excellent! Fast, friendly and worked for a little later check out which we very much appreciated. Well stocked. Our only dislike is the road noise. Goes all day and night. Otherwise we were satisfied. Nice pools, great walking to beach. abd”

“I think this may have been the least expensive listing when I was looking so I honestly wasn’t expecting much. However, it was beyond my expectations. I would have been totally fine with something half this size. The complex was quiet and lush; a perfect home base at the end of a day exploring the island. ”
