“It was so nice to stay here! The communication was great, the house is nice, and overall had a great experience staying here!!”

“Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. There was a lot of junk outside the cabin and we had to use our own towels……

“Sweet coastal themed cottage. Enjoyed watching deer and turkeys and picking blueberries along the dead end road. Away from crowds. Peaceful retreat with great views nearby. Two lobster shacks to eat at nearby, Bell Buoy and Lunch on the Wharf. Winkled Pickle was good too. ”

“My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh……

“We were a group of 10 family and friends, so there were plenty of beds. We found the house clean, well appointed,and stocked with everything we needed. We loved the seclusion of the spot. The roof top deck was a bonus, as we were there during the Perseids meteor shower. Away from the crowds of Acadia, the Schoodic peninsula is beautiful. Highly recommend and hope to come back! “We really enjoyed our stay. Sandy beaches are rare for this area, and our kids had a great time exploring the rocky coastline and playing in the sand. We saw interesting wildlife, and watched the boats go in and out of the bay each day. The property was clean and well-maintained, and the owners were excellent communicators, responding right away to any questions that we had.”

“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seawall Shores. The house had everything! Location is close enough (1 hr drive) to Bar Harbor to easily explore the main part of Acadia, but also very near the Schoodic side entrance (10 mins) and a few local shops, restaurants, and a brewery. Our teens thoroughly enjoyed the game room! My wife and I took our morning coffee in with a water view from the porch while we ended our nights with a glass of wine in the chairs on the rocky beach or by the firepit. Even……

“This house was everything that was promised...secluded, well stocked, and very clean. I was particularly happy with the amount of supplies already in the kitchen when I arrived. Every morning I was able to have a hot cup of coffee out on the deck and listen to the water lapping against the rocks. I even had a little seal friend swim up into the cove to say hello. My only word of warning is that the road to the house is unpaved and you really need to take your time driving to and from town.……
