“I enjoyed the quietness and cleanliness of my room. It’s an old inn with history. My room was nice with all the amenities. It took a while for the heater to heat the room. The night I stayed it was extremely cold and wintery. ”

“This hotel is a real piece of history and is decorated and furnished accordingly, so don't expect king sized modern beds and air conditioning. However, if , like me, you appreciate people taking the effort to give you an unforgettable experience of how things used to be, this is the place. The town itself is a lovely reminder of what the Gold Country was like in the late 1800s with lots of old buildings along a main street. The hotel sits in the middle of the town and looks just like it must……
