“This is an older highway style motel. I was a bit skeptical when I booked, but the rooms were clean and well maintained. Good economical option for a night stay.”

“I am a senior lady traveling alone and felt very safe. The area was well lighted at night. The room (king) was quaint and more than satisfactory. The best part was the bed (and even the pillows). Not sure the brand ( I tried to find out :>). I slept so well - I have back issues and this was the best I've slept in months. I walked into downtown (Salida) every morning... 1.7 miles (downhill :>) I would definitely stay here again. It is right on Rainbow (the hwy) but it is a 'motor hotel' -……

“Rooms were clean and roomy. Staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast included fresh ground coffee, juice, various egg dishes, biscuits with vegetarian gravy, sausage, bacon, potatoe wedges, muffins, bagels, waffles, pancakes and fresh fruit. Pool, sauna, hot tub and workout room was also very nice.”

“Very clean room and easy to make a reservation last minute. Staff kind and friendly and let us know that there was continental breakfast in the morning and that the hot tub was open til 10 PM if we wanted to use it.”

“The environment and staff were excellent! The only downside was that after spending one night, my allergic rhinitis got really bad, which happens when the bedding isn’t clean enough.”

“The pet area was rock and full of dog doo. There were no pickup bags, thankfully I travel with plenty. The ice machine is really inconveniently placed. The room was clean and quiet. The house keeper was very friendly. ”
