“The room and property were great. The staff was not very friendly, they didn't seem happy to be there or ready to welcome guests. The breakfast was not at all welcoming, there was not much there. There was coffee, but no bread for toast, and there was syrup but nothing to put it on. There were only a couple apples that were shriveling. Not much at all in the small cooler. We left and went somewhere else to eat. When we checked out again the staff was uninterested.”

It has the 100+ year old Victorian look and feel, but with a few modern upgrades such as an elevator, AC, and key cards. We didn’t have time to use the outdoor heated spa pool, but it looked inviting. The room could have used more places to hang towels and clothes. “The only issues we had was the loud people above us. There was hardly anyone there and it was kind of annoying that people were put so close together. Also the tub would not drain in room 14 and the shower knobs need replaced. Overall a good experience. ”
