“I didn’t even realise this was a motel until the desk clears mentioned it at checkout. I typically choose hotels with free breakfast, but due to the popular and overpriced location, I went for this accommodation. I would absolutely stay here again, and have no problem recommending it. Bakery options around the corner conpensate for no breakfast. Clean, simple rooms.”

“We've stayed in Mackinac city a few times and this was by far one of the best hotels. Clean beach and chairs, attentive staff and clean rooms. ”

“Great view , within walking distance of downtown.. staff was friendly and prompt. Rooms are older , though maintained well. I’d give it a 4.5/5. ”

“No breakfast options other than granola bars. However, there are many restaurants very close by. Good location, close to everything. We had a minor problem with the room that the hotel staff resolved quickly. Note that the free wifi at the hotel is not secure, but cell signal was good. No microwave in the room, and the fridge did not have much space. But room was huge. Loved the log cabin decor.”
