“Hotel Esperides is a lovely quiet hotel on the main road just across from the road into Myrtos, a quiet tourist town on the southern coast of Crete. Wonderful breakfast for 9 euros per person, with large assortment of foods. Small elevator available. Very accommodating when we arrived early from the ferry to Heraklion, Crete; we were able to purchase breakfast even before check in, and they got 2 rooms ready for us an hour or so before their usual check in time. “Very nice hotel for the price. Some nice restaurants nearby. Only issue we had was the number of stray cats around the hotel, who can be too friendly and don't give you any piece when lounging around the pools. It's not pleasant to be sunbathing when a cat jumps on you and sticks their claws into you!!”

“I have been three times at Ariadni Hotel so far (August 2017, 2018, 2020). It is a family-owned hotel that has also umbrellas and sunbeds for its guests. It is near the Arvi beach and at a walking distance from the local taverns and bars. The rooms are not large, but they are clean and each one of them has the air conditioner. And you can have a complete breakfast, too!”
