“Need to walk up staircase to rooms on first or second floor, clean and tidy, well maintained. Double glazed window keeps out noise. Good value for price.”

“I was very happy with the room itself and the price I paid for it booking only couple of days beforehand. Nice and fresh with lots of storage and a clean ensuite bathroom I'd compare the facilities to Travelodge or Ibis(but no TV). However. This being a university campus, it was A bit difficult to find and park in the correct place and was quite a walk to reception and the actual room. Got given a map of the campus and had to find the room myself. Not the easiest task with a luggage -just Keep……

“My 3rd stay here when working away from home. Lovely furbished rooms with comfy beds and great complimentary breakfast basket. Love staying here, will be back on my next visit south. ”

“Excellent stay. Very friendly hosts. Games room and sauna avaiable. Several pubs nearby (5 minited drive) for food. Property is an old house and has several quirky featured you would expect of a property of thay age.”

“The rooms are spacious clean and well equipped. This is not really a hotel but rather a series of rooms with a reception desk inside a building which seems to have been gutted of all else . They don’t do breakfast and there’s nowhere remotely near where you can get some . The only available food close by is a fish and chip shop. It’s a short walk to Harwich International and a 5 minute train ride to Harwich Town”
